    I’m glad you like …
    I’m glad you like Egypt. But please, your history information is very messed up. My father teaches Egyptian Hisotry at your country, George Washington University, so I know what I’m saying. Please read more, because according to your assessment, Egypt’s people disappeared with every invasion, and there are countless invasions.

    Thus, u can’t say …
    Thus, u can’t say that the we are not the decendants of the Pharaos, because we are. May be life has changed, because we went through a lot of wars, and we’re suffering from many problems like any other country in the world. But still we have many positivities in our country and we love Egypt so much. Everything has its pros and its cons. U GOT ME

    If u searched the …
    If u searched the history well, u’ll find that the Pharaos were not cleansed. There were Copts ” the decendants of the Pharaos “. When Amr Ebn Al A’as invaded Egypt, he wanted his Arab soldiers to mingle with the Egyptian Copts. Some of them converted into Islam, and some of them remained Christians.

    Um, actually …
    Um, actually ancient Egyptians WERE ethnically cleansed because they don’t exist anymore. The race that made up Egypt before the Arab invasion is gone.

    The US did not ethnically cleanse native Americans seeing as how there are still millions of them left.

    Again, I like Egypt, I’ve been there. I like Egyptians. But your civilization is not as old as you say it is. You’re taking credit for the exploits of a civilization that predates yours, that you destroyed.

    It’s all history of …
    It’s all history of one land, many people, and in the middle…Egyptians. So don’t compare America’s removal of Native Americans to Egypt. It’s not fair.

    I understand your …
    I understand your point. However. There is a difference between and Arab talking and an Arab ethnicity.We are physically different from peninsular Arabs. If we take by your argument, that an army of few thousand Arabs replaced millions of Egyptians, then we can also say that Alexander’s army of Greeks or the Roman armies of Caesar replaced Egyptians, or maybe the Syrians?Libyans?Ottomans?a mixture of civilizations is more like it.
    p.s: Egyptians were not ethnically cleansed like your natives.

    @kontheven2 I like …
    @kontheven2 I like Egypt but your current civilization is not really that old, it’s just that ancient people lived in what is now your country.

    As an Arab you can’t really claim credit for the ancient Egyptian civilization because that existed long before the invasion of the Arabs .

    You don’t think as a US citizen I can claim my civilization is thousands of years old do you? Native Americans existed in what is now my country for millennia.
