You’re comparing apples to oranges. A bug is constructed of destructable material…A penny is almost impossible to destroy. So you can’t compare a bug and a penny, because I rather smack a bug flying in my hand at 65mph as oppose to smacking a penny at 65mph. And to restate my question, would it be okay if I shot a penny at your skull at point blank range at 65 mph?

it’s been tested sooo many times (such as on mythbusters). 65mph is decently fast, but something only weighing a gram isn’t going to apply much force… about 5 newtons or so. if what you’re saying were true, if the bones in your hand would be shattered if you held you hand out a car window and a large bug hit it. or think of a penny somehow floating in midair and driving past with your hand out the window it hits your hand… doesn’t seem so intense now, does it?
