Most of the time you need a credit card in order to book a hotel room. Double check with the specific place you are headed to if you don't have a credit card to see if they can make some accomodation for you.

As far as I know, the only thing you can’t do is drink (duh) and rent a car.
You are good to go as far as all other things, I believe.
